I’ve Been Thinking. This Week’s Random Riot Ramblings.

As I watch the national insurrection aimed at fundamentally-transforming the country under the guise of giving a damn about George Floyd, I have committed to memory the hypocrisy, the gaslighting, the flat out lying by Democrat leaders as well as our corrupt, defunct Fourth Estate. These are just off the top of my head, so please indulge me in my random riot ramblings:

New York City Mayor Bill de blasio is blaming President Trump for the riots: “I’ve not seen the specific words coming out of the White House or actions but I can tell you this, and this is the blunt truth: The president of the United States helped to create this atmosphere, and that’s the tragedy here.”

“It doesn’t matter what your party affiliation is, it doesn’t matter what you think of President Trump, there’s been an uptick in tension and hatred and division since he came along, it’s just a fact. And it’s not the reason for any specific act but it has helped to poison the atmosphere.”

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Such hypocrisy, such gaslighting, such lies. Perhaps de blasio has forgotten the many times he, himself has trashed the police…..just like Barack Obama….or the many times Obama told us what a racist country we are, or mocked Christians, even comparing them to ISIS. Perhaps de blasio has forgotten Madonna fantasizing about “blowing up the white house,” or Kathy Griffin’s severed Trump head.

Perhaps Mayor de blasio doesn’t recall Congresswoman Maxine Waters essentially inciting violence by telling her constituents: “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that (Trump’s) Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo blamed the cops for the violence and mayhem saying, “The police in NYC were not effective at doing their job last night.” That’s rich coming from a governor who ordered nursing homes to accept COVID-19 positive patients, a governor very effective at imposing death sentences on thousands of nursing home residents in his state. While trashing the protectors, the police, the true-to-form, far-left-progressive liberal Cuomo is supporting the predators, the rioters, the thugs. “I stand with the protesters. And I think all well-meaning people stand with the protesters.” You’d be very wrong about that, Andy. Very wrong.

As for Joe Biden’s hypocrisy, gaslighting and lies, they are voluminous:

Earlier this week, he emerged from his subterranean dwelling place to tell a gathering, “I won’t traffic in fear and division. I won’t fan the flames of hate. I’ll seek to heal the racial wounds that have long plagued our country, not use them for political gain.” Hmmmm. Let’s measure that statement against what Biden has said previously.

While campaigning for Barack Obama in 2012, Biden – using his best southern drawl – told a largely African American gathering that the Republicans “are gonna put y’all back in chains.” No fear, fanning of flames or division there.

In 2008, Joe Biden described Barack Obama thusly: “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” Awe Joe, you’re so woke, man.

In 1975, Biden stated unequivocally: “I do not buy the concept, popular in the ’60s, which said, ‘We have suppressed the black man for 300 years and the white man is now far ahead in the race for everything our society offers. In order to even the score, we must now give the black man a head start, or even hold the white man back, to even the race. I don’t buy that.……I don’t feel responsible for the sins of my father and grandfather. I feel responsible for what the situation is today, for the sins of my own generation. And I’ll be damned if I feel responsible to pay for what happened 300 years ago.”

While we’re on the topic of reparations, let me inject here that earlier this week, BET founder Bob Johnson unveiled his $14 trillion reparations plan. It is this writer’s opinion that Trump beat him to it. It’s called the lowest black unemployment rate in American history. He did it once. He’ll do it again. From the employment numbers reported just today, as of this writing, we’re well on our way back from the artificial collapse not due to economic reasons, but brought about purposely by a manufactured Coronavirus crisis…purposely to destroy Donald Trump. But I digress. I told you they were random ramblings……

Speaking of rambling, let’s continue with Joe Biden:

Just two weeks ago, he told a black radio audience on the syndicated “The Breakfast Club” radio show that if they don’t vote for him “you ain’t black.” Way to heal those racial wounds, Joe. “C’mon MAN!”

As an aside, Angela Yee, co-host of the show, has since compared the thug rioters to average Americans who ignored shutdown orders and went to the beach. She’s not the only one. Yee even claimed that President Trump’s warning that rioters who might have made it onto the White House grounds “would’ve faced vicious dogs and ominous weapons” was his somehow hearkening back to the 60s and “sicking dogs on black people.” Absolutely no self-awareness for Ms. Yee, a young, black woman achieving fame and fortune in America, hosting a nationally-syndicated radio show. What would have been her odds in 1968?

For the record, those thug rioters were extremely aggressive against police and Secret Service agents (more than 50 were injured) while occupying Lafayette Park, just across from the White House.

Earlier this week, Biden took Ms. Yee’s lead and also referenced President Trump’s “vicious dogs” tweet and said, “They weren’t the words of a president. They were the kind of words Bull Connor would’ve used unleashing his dogs on innocent women and children.” No old fears. No division. Just healing words, huh Joe?

Also this week, Quid Pro Joe also pandered to African American community leaders in Wilmington, Delaware, suggesting that police forces could train officers to shoot attackers in the legs in order to reduce potential fatalities.

Biden said: “The idea that instead of standing there and teaching a cop when there’s an unarmed person, coming at him with a knife or something, to shoot him in the leg instead of in the heart.”

In 2011, he took a very different tact where his wife is concerned: “I said, ‘Jill, if there’s ever a problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out and put that double-barrel shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house.” Seems he didn’t care where the bullets went, so long as Jill blasted the shotgun.

Have you seen what a shotgun can do to a person, even if your aim is off? If not, watch a rerun of “Gunsmoke”. Watch Gunsmoke anyway. It’s a classic. Again, rambling. This is the same Joe Biden who – not that long ago – promised to take away your guns and even said he’d put “Hell, yes, we’re gonna take away your guns” Beto O’Rourke in charge of that task.

Biden, the Democrats and the media also purposely misconstrued President Trump’s words: “When the looting starts, the shooting starts.”

Everyone knows what the president meant. He meant that once a riot escalates to the point where the looting starts, it’s at that point where violence may ensue. That’s exactly what happened the next day and that’s precisely what President Trump was trying to prevent when he urged governors to not let it get to the point of looting.

Here’s an interesting blast from the past from Elizabeth Warren that so fits right now.

In 2011, when Elizabeth Warren insisted wealthy business owners needed to pay more taxes because their success was off the backs of average Americans. Part of her lecture had to do with public services protecting those businesses. “You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, (or have to) hire someone to protect against this, because of the work the rest of us did.” Hey Liz, how’s that “marauding bands” thing working out these days?

Democrats are outraged by President Trump “brandishing a Bible” and are suddenly concerned about its sanctity as well as that of St. John’s church, yet defend, protect and allow rioting thugs to break the 8th Commandment, “Thou shalt not steal.” They also defend and promote abortion and advocate for the killing of innocent babies, in violation of the 6th Commandment, “Thou shalt not kill.” Yet, they are outraged by the killing of an innocent George Floyd.

Democrats claim that President Trump “brandishing a Bible” in front of St. John’s Church was nothing but a “photo op.” Yet, they expect us to believe that Joe Biden attending George Floyd’s funeral is not.

Democrats deem marijuana shops, liquor stores and abortion clinics “essential businesses” while closing churches, harassing and threatening to arrest anyone for attending, yet are now suddenly concerned about the sanctity of the Bible and St. John’s Church.

Democrats are suddenly concerned about the sanctity of the Bible and St. John’s Church, yet uttered not a word when the church was set ablaze, nor when St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York and churches across the country were vandalized and desecrated. These are the same Democrats who booed Lost Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa at the 2012 Democrat Convention when he asked for three separate voice votes on an amendment that would restore the mention of God. They were, for all intents and purposes, booing God.

Democrats and the media are claiming that the rioting thugs are white supremacists, yet claim that President Trump cracking down on them is “his way of dominating black people.” How can both be true?

Fox News Channel’s resident spewer of nonsensical non-sequiturs, Juan Williams, said that “99% of ANTIFA are good people” and there were crickets. Yet, when President Trump said there were “good people on both sides” in Charlottesville, he was crucified.

ANTIFA asserts that their very name indicates that they are against fascism. Yet, they use fascist tactics, including violence and destruction, to shut down and silence anyone who gets in their way. To this writer, ANTIFA stands for “Anti First Amendment”.  Democrats, the left, the media – and those they defend – have now redefined the word “protest,” making it an umbrella term to include everything from peacefully carrying a sign to stealing, burning down businesses and cities, violence and murder, simply to give any of their behaviors First Amendment protections.

Thank you for allowing me to vent. I feel so much better now. Well, not really.
